I used to absolutely love pumpkin pie so if there is an easy and smooth recipe, that would be great. I find pumpkin too hard to work with yet butternut squash isn't; so pls, pls post!

Have you made enough recipes from the book to give it a good recommendation?

Sorry for the delay on this. I e-mailed the folks at Cafe Gratitude last week and haven't heard back yet. I will try to call them this weekend.

It is important to me that they are okay with it. The owners are such wonderful people and do so much the community. I want to honor them and the work they have done.

My main purposes in posting this originally was to a) share my excitment in trying something new (this recipe has ingredients in it that I don't use very often), point out the recipe for those that have the book, and mention the book for those that haven't heard of it.

You could always buy the book (yes its amazing but order some irish moss at the same time hehe--complicated but outrageously wonderful recipes)
