Hi All,
Just wanted to say that I just got Alissa's book, and holy guacamole! When I picked up the box it was in I couldn't believe how heavy that thing is! And allllllllll those recipes??? JEESH! I got the DVD, too, and that came first, so I've watched that a couple times. My partner is soooooo excited about all those foods. Completely amazing, and I'm just completely in awe over all these recipes. It's totally amazing!!
Anyways, just wanted to share my excitement with the community :)

Yeah, I agree, that book is wicked heavy. I'm not sure why it was produced that way. It certainly could have been smaller and used less paper, but whatev. Lots of great reading there! I practically read it straight through.

I'm sooo excited your excited.....you really just can't help but love them.....they're great! BTW, I love the size of the book, I just put a clip on it and it stays open so I can make whatever I'm making, or knit while I'm reading. If it was any smaller it just wouldn't be as handy in the kitchen.

It is one of the best resources for raw eating and health! It takes two or three other raw books to equal the information in Alissa's book.
Use it well!!

Mmmmm, made Alissa's marinara last night on some zucchini... holy cow!!! That was so awesome! Going to make the meat loaf one this afternoon, and some kale chips, and some other "chip" type recipes to load up my dehydrator (56 sqft, so gotta makes lots) and get 'er goin :)

Love the book...and it doubles as a workout.LOL!
Some people on the forum have taken the book to places such as Kinko's and had them spiral bound it into two sections, the big info section and then the big recipe section. I thought about this too, but was unsure if any print would be lost in the un-binding. But if it's too big it does sound like a good idea.
Again, my first and bestest RAW book!!
