I am newly raw. I have been vegetarian for several years, vegan for one and then discovered raw on line and have been excited about everything I have read on line. Still to purchase some books. I have an old juicer and my blender recently expired after many years. I'd like to get the vitamix but they are expensive so I'm tossing up whether to wait til I get enough money together to get one or buy a cheaper one and then save for the more expensive one. Also keen to get the Green star juicer at some point.
In the meantime, I am eating fruit through the morning, drinkings lots of water with lemon, salad for lunch (lots of salad greens, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sprouts) and then juice and or veg in the evening. If i get peckish I have some goji berries and or a few sprouted almonds. I've been 4 weeks raw not quite 100% but getting there and it is my goal. I think I'm detoxing a bit - my skin has broken out a bit and I don't normally get break outs so thats what I am putting it down too.
