Hey guys!
I tried fasting with the other bandits and compelted 4 days on juice and 1 day on water. It wasn't easy, Hats off to the other guys still fasting!:D!
I realise there is another Green smoothie feast thread but im not sure thats still ongoing??
Im transitioning from a fasting attempt to a green smoothie feast which would be alternated with juice feasts/fasts. (Ive been adviced against going from GS to water).
I have a lot of goals I want to reach this month and also to cleanse and release some weight. I also want to be able to carry out my day to day activities, university, work and travelling that I have to do so I guess a green juice/smoothie feast is the way to go.

Im not going to set a particular length for the smoothie or juice days so I dont set myself up for a downfall,. I'll just listen to my body and see where It goes.

Im not very experienced at this,. so Every bit of advice would be very appreciated.
Anyone else fancy doing this with me?

For those interested, there's no time limit, you can do a 3 day to the full 30 day feast if you feel so interested. Or you could do this as a way to transition back to eating solid foods if you have been fasting.
I would also be taking tips from the fasting bandits in Aleesha's thread,.. they know their stuff!!

Im recovering from breaking my fast incorrectly, (bad move). so ive been in bed all day.

Its day 1 and ive had

1 pint of spinach/kale/mixed frozen berries/carrot/banana/ coconut oil smoothie
1 pint of carrot/spinach/apple smoothie.
lots of water in between,

Lots of love

I'm In and will continue trying until I get it right. I just finished my second GS . I too am doing it for both health and weight loss and plan to, once I get the fasting down, to transition to a Raw Food Lifestyle. I have 60 lbs. to lose.

Good luck to us all.

I read somewhere online about a group of people doing a green smoothie feast/fast but had fruits for one of the meals.
Doesn't this defeat the purpose of the fast?
Then again your digestive system isn't completelty in hibernation so it shouldn't hurt too bad.

What do you'all think?

Nubianess,
You've been on the GS feast for how long before you noticed the changes? I haven't noticed anything yet but I guess it will come soon..
