hi,
i am about 2 weeks into 100% raw and learning alot. i was dianosed with MS in 1999. have been on Avonex (an immuno suppressant!) for all this time and just now have leaned of the Raw way of life and sick of drugs and no hope...so am going 100% raw and 100% now off all meds and it is scary b/c it is all i have known and a false security for sure.
i have searched thru the old posts here looking for something to take to help.(vitamin D is one thing i read). i don't know what to expect or how long detox will last after so many yrs eating the SAD, altho i ate what i thought was relatively healthy. if anyone out there has any new info on the affects of eating raw on MS and what i might expect (altho i know we are all diff to some extent!) please share or help. i want to let my body heal and feel better, but it is --so far-- taking longer than a few days---which i can certainly understand but didn't anticipate.
i have a juicer and dehydrator shipping to me now and thank God my family is also going raw with me. they are already feeling some benefits but should i expect mine to be slower?? please help. and thank you.
(i should add that i am 44, and about 15 pounds overwt, very physically active, see a 75% raw chiropracter about 2x a month.)
