I have been thinking about... Toxic foods.
I was talking with one of my friends about how he thinks he could never go raw and he was telling me all the stuff he would miss and I told him he would probably miss peanut butter and he told me he wouldn't because they sell raw peanut butter in Whole Foods, which by the way I have never seen, but I have seen raw peanuts and I started wondering why no one talks about raw peanut butter. Once I went to a talk about raw food in High Vibe, New York, and I remember Robert Dagger said peanuts are very toxic and most people in the world have some kind of peanut allergy. But no one explained anything else.
I also have a very good friend that is violently allergic to tomatoes and she says that they are toxic for everyone and that all the nighshade family of fruits should be avoid. Everyone has different opinions about what to eat and what to avoid eating... But no one explains a lot, the answer seems to be simply that food is toxic. Oh well.
I have also seen a lot of people asking for recipes without nutritional yeast and I wonder what is wrong with that.
What other raw foods are considered toxic or unhealthy? Why?
What about grains? Sprouts?
