Holy cow, woman!!! You look amazing!! You're truly beautiful in all the pics, but what an incredible transformation. I'm picking my jaw up off the floor...
So -- any tips? Did you do low-fat raw? Exercise? I lost about 15 pounds the first 2 months, but haven't lost anything at all the last 2... would love any advice you have to share.
Thanks for sharing, it's a real inspiration!

Pitaya! You are beautiful and you are inspiring me SO MUCH. Thank you for sharing your transformation. Note: I typo'd transformation to read "transporation" at first. And you know what? You have shared your transportation process in a sense. You chose raw foods to transport yourself. It's late...I will be logging off now. :p Congratulations!!!!

WOW! thanks everyone for the responses! I was away for a week so couldn't reply until now! you are all beauty-full and i love how we all inspire each other : ) this place is full of inspiration to keep us on track!
for those of you asking how i did it: i just followed the raw diet, 100%! i learned more and more along the way, as i went - for example, at first all i did was eat fruits and vegetables and raw nuts because i had no idea about the raw gourmet recipes out there. then, as i learned, i tried more and more. i really learned to listen to my body as i went along too - when i needed to fast or juice feast, i did. when i needed colonics, i got them. i work WITH my body now, and it works : )

yes, I would like to know this as well! bump! :p
i did go 100% - last january (before the date i officially call my raw anniversary date) i tried on just fruits and veggies but wasn't feeling fulfilled so spent a weekend eating cooked foods, but i felt AWFUL and ever since then never went back.
the other thing keeping me going 100% was the weight change- on average it was 10lbs released per month - my body was DYING to release the layers of toxic fat. there were periods when i saw no changes but i remained grateful for what had changed, not only weight but my nails hair skin attitude moods - my LIFE!
meditation was VERY powerful and key to my process too : ) and this place, i came here everyday for support and to teach others what i had learned, even if it was just a little at the time.

hi! i think you sent me an email or personal message but i have no way to reply, sorry! i just answered most of this in previous post, but want to say this too: PLEASE be easy on yourself. it's not easy to change a lifetime of habits. i was VERY sick, so desperate for anything to help me, and that made me do it no matter what. your journey might be different, but it is just as precious and beautiful. practice acceptance toward yourself, you are a human being, and the guilt will go away. weight changes come quick when you go 100% (assuming you have alot to lose?). meditation helps calm all emotion too, and keeps you focussed and on track. also you may have a toxicity condition you might want to see a natural path or raw food coach about? my website will be up soon, with info and an offering of my services, so i will keep you posted too, ok? in the meantime, we are all walking with you, supporting you 100% : )
blessings,
pitaya

Thank you so much, you are shining too! I found that for me 100% was the only way, and a year later, it still is. i did so much damage to my body over the years that it needs to clean, and clean well, and 100% is the only way. maybe experiment with different percentages to see how you feel? you will soon tap into an unshakable wisdom inside yourself that will help you with the bigger questions, and of course people here are here to help all along the way : )

I am just lurking around the boards getting ready for my first foray into raw. I have been eating 90% vegan for over a year now but my weight is stuck and I still have about 40 lbs to lose. Looking at your pictures make me excited to think that I can buy cute little clothes someday!! Thanks for posting. You are an inspiration!

xinmywayx - thank you : ) happy to inspire you, and please keep us posted on your journey : )
irishserra - awww thank you so much! i was actually losing weight at that point and felt great, so much better than I had in years. I was like, "wait a sec, my skin: it's SHINING!" such a great feeling. blessings and blissings to you!
thanks jennifae and rinda!
hi Myca! great questions - in my first year I just stuck to eating raw foods, no restrictions within that at first. the most important thing was listening to my body to see what it needed next as it began INTENSIVE cleaning. i lived in a big city with two raw restaurants and in a neighbourhood with beautyFull fresh produce, so no, I do not remember being hungry! I did learn to sit with the feeling of emptiness in my stomach though, and realize it as peace, and a gift to my body to heal itself (by shutting down digestive processes for short periods of time, drinking pure water), instead of agonizing suffering and "starving." So, no, nuh-uh, I didn't go hungry and wasn't starving, there is too much deliciousness to choose from on the raw diet. today i know how to recreate anything i used to eat so i am not missing a thing : P
Love to you all! XOXOXO
