I was wondering the pro's con's of doing longer fasts (1-2 wks) or shorter fasts (up to 5 or 7ish days).

this is water fasting with some juice.
Im thinking that on a shorter or longer fast you dont reach a point of maximum benefit until the 3rd day and forward? you have to wait up to 3 days for the digestive system to full empty and go to sleep right? if you just fasted from 1-3 days that would just be like not eating and hardly any benefits?

also shorter vs longer fasts do they have a difference in the stress on the body?

You gain more spiritual enlightenment later in your fasts... and release much more toxins this way as well.

Short fasts are also good but sometimes I feel like I'm just starting to move the soil around and I stop. With an extended fast, I actually get the entire garden weeded!
