Does Maca has an expiration date?

I have a bag of Maca that I bought a a while ago. Today I was going through my "inventory" of supplements, I noticed that label on my almost full Maca bag says that it is best until August 2008. Does it mean that it I just have to throw it away and forget about it, or I still can sparingly use it, and it just won't be as potent as fresh Maca? :rolleyes:

It's not going to have gone "bad" and cause issues for you, it just won't be as fresh. It's not like using chicken after its expiration day.

I keep my bag of maca in the freezer. Keeps great and for a long time that way.
