Hey everyone! :D

I have a friend who's been sick for a bit now. She's really just wanting raw soups when she CAN eat, but most are too salty and/or too spicy. Do any of you have any raw soups that are not spicy and lower on the salt end of things? Thanks in advance! :D

Uh yeah, don't put salt and spice in them.

Someone we know has a spice she makes with celery. Can dry it, grind it up. Good salt replacement.

For me, all I do is eliminate the called-for spices and put something I like in it. Does that make sense or am I missing something?

I look at raw "soup" as just another smoothie.

Revell, My thought exactly.... just prepare ANY raw soup, Shine, but with no salt or spice. Sea vegetable granules are a great salt replacement or maybe flavor it up with nutritional yeast or ginger root..... yikes, i'm drooling :D

i find that the soups from raw food real world a great and easy to make
another favorite of mine is a thai soup where you can leave the chili out as the kaffir lime is the taste carrier

1 young coconut meat& water
1 bunch of spinach
1 kaffir lime leave

put everything in the blender and voila
