wow - this looks wonderful! I'm picking up my new food processor tomorrow, and yes, I do have some cacao and avocados on hand. Need to pick up some agave though. I'll probably use less of the sweetener, as I tend to like my chocolate things very bittersweet.

Eewh! Sorry. I love avocado but cannot eat them in pudding. I've tried similiar recipes twice and threw it out. Not sure if it's the avo-choc combo or the sweetening of the avo, but it's :p:(
It's probably just me. I will try it with soaked cashews and coconut oil.

Thanks for the link! That was the first time I'd seen Matt Monarch's show. I'll keep it in my raw favorites. :)

wow! I just made this and it is really rich and yummy. Almost too rich, I think if I do it again I will use less cacao and carob powder.

I love Matt's show! Btw... I don't really taste the avocadoes at all.. Just tastes really rich and chocolatey!

I will give it another try. Your recipe may be better than the two I tried. :)

I don't like the avo-chocolate pudding either but my kids do. I think I might try this recipe though as well because when I made it I used two avocados, 2tbs cacao, and I believe 2 or 3 tbs raw agave and you could still taste the avocado. I'm not a big avocado fan anyways since I never grew up eating them, and my husband who does like avocados didn't like the avocado chocolate combination. I'll try this recipe and see if the extra chocolate masks the flavor of the avocado.

I'm sure this recipe is great.....I make one that's very similar but I add a sprinkle of salt, a little vanilla and then I like to add some water to make it not as thick. I've found this to be a great way to use avacados that are too ripe or bruised because when you add the carob/cocoa it's all brown anyway.

Oh boy! I just made this recipe using carob instead of cacao... and honey instead of agave... mmmmmmm this satisfied a major craving!!!
