Central New York - Raw meet up group!

Hey everyone... so I know I should have waited until March or April to do this since I will be extremely busy in February, but I was too excited and just couldn't wait!

If you live in the syracuse area or are willing to drive out for meet ups please join the new raw world syracuse group!! I hope it becomes an awesome group of people who can support each other through our raw food journey!

I was just going to email you about the retreat but then i saw your post. I'd love to come but all depends on time and weather. Keep me posted.
I'm also trying to figure the date for the retreat - i said the same thing - i really should wait until july when the flowers are up and the food is in the garden and the sun is shining but.......i'm excited and don't want to wait!

if you can't make the first meet you can always come later when the weather is nicer! I'm not exactly sure how far you are from Syracuse but I'm thinking it's a little drive right? anyway.. I hope to meet up with you sometime soon!

I'm really excited that in a short amount of time I've got 8 people who signed up to be in the group and 5 of them are coming to our first meeting in a week and a half! I'm super excited! yay!

yep.... I lived there for a little over a year before I moved here in 2005.. I love that darn city .. it just feels like home to me. We are hoping to move back though maybe by 2011.

I've lived in Texas though since I was about 12, so I consider myself a texan.

Good question. I found this little town when doing one of those online quizzes about "where's the best place for me".

I must have been less picky than I am now b/c I should never have moved to the snow and lack of sun! But I did meet my DH here, so I shouldn't complain.

I'm originally from Lubbock, TX. Talk about boring, lol.

wow, you are quite the adventurer aren't you? Ithaca is a great city though.. if I had to live in NY for the rest of my life Ithaca is where I"d like to be.

just wanted to bump this up.. our first meeting is tomorrow and I can't believe it but I've got 13 people who have RSVP'd yes to coming! I hope the place we are going has enough seats for us all! :eek::)

I honestly can't believe how much interest in this there is so far.. so we will see how it goes! Maybe this area is an untapped place just waiting for someone to come in and bring the raw food movement to it!
