Raw Food Chef & Living on Live Food Instructor Certification Retreat!

Turquoise Barn will be hosting a Raw Food Chef & Living on Live Food Instructor Certification Retreat. I don’t have all the details yet because I am trying to get an idea of how many people would be interested in signing up. The information I do have as of now is:

• The classes will be taught by a Level 3 Living on Live Food Instructor certified by Alissa Cohen
• The class will be over a weekend sometime between April - July
• Turquoise Barn is a former dairy farm located in the Western Catskills of New York State approximately 3 hours from New York City
• Accommodations will be available at Turquoise Barn and various locations within a 5 mile radius

We may also be offering massage and yoga classes as well. Whether your new to raw foods and would like to jump in or if you’ve been raw for a while and want to expand your knowledge, or if your interested in getting your certificates

For a detailed description of the classes please go to: www.alissachohen.com/classevents_certifications.html

For more information about the site (including pictures and location) of Turquoise Barn go to www.turquoisebarn.com

Contact turquoisebarn@yahoo.com for more information.

wow, it certainly is beautiful. that first link doesn't work though.. I might be interested... so basically if I attended I would have a level two certification at the end of it right? I already took a level 1 class but I'm seriously thinking about getting into teaching raw foods so this might be for me! thanks for posting about it.

thanks spicyfull - i'm hoping so as well!
luna99 - Yes - you can just sign up for the level 2. I'll keep you posted on the time and who the instructor will be. Right now i'm just trying to get an idea of how many people would be interested. It will be a small group but i need a minumum # of people to make it worthwhile for the instructor to come out.
Your pretty close to me i think. Is there a fairly large community near you? I'm pretty much alone in my area except for another guy i just met at the healthfood store who said "wow - i thought i was the only one up here". If you have any other questions let me know.

lunachica.. thanks for the info! I'm very interested! As for other raw foodists around here, there are a few who have responded to me on these threads now and again but they don't seem to be regulars here... I am planning on starting a raw meet up soon here though so I hope there are more than come out of the wood works!

can't wait to hear more info on the level 2 weekend retreat/class!

For anyone interested in the retreat - i'm trying to figure out a time. I'm thinking sooner than later just because i'm excited and want to get on with it now. I look at as a jumpstart for the spring/summer. But......it may work best for some when the weather is warmer, the sun is shining, the flowers are up and the garden is growing?

What do you think?

hmmm.. I personally think it would be better if it was when it was a bit warmer... April/May/June perhaps??? For me that would just work better as far as my schedule goes though..

but I know how you feel about wanting to do things NOW! lol.
