Nat, I was 100% raw 99% of the time. ;) Did I eat cooked here and there - yup, sometimes - but my focus was 100% raw.
Thank you everyone... I'm pretty happy with how my body is shaping up! The only 'working out' I do is: rebounding (http://www.timelessspirit.com/SEPT08/review2.shtml) and yoga.
Wow your transformation is amazing. And you don't look 45 to me.

Even from your first picture i thought you were in your thirty. I am shock about 48
Wow, you do look young
You have been so brave and so wonderful doing all of those juice fastings. I can see the difference and the speed that your body can tranform.
I have been doing the raw and never done one day juice. I did smoothie/juice but never just the juice.
I want to take advantage of the summer to have the fresh berries and fruits coming but my goal is fall, and i will do this famous juice fasting.
It is wonderful that you coach others and share your experience
All is well!

Wow! Aleesha! You look incredible! How do you do it? You must be one determined and strong lady! Ah, I always believed I'm a strong willed person, but I fell off the raw bandwagon again :( Getting back on it though!
I know you said before you had some problems with acne. May I ask how long did it take you to heal your skin?

My skin was horrid before I became raw. Within a very very short time it was gorgeous. Weeks or perhaps a month or two max? I can't remember... it's been so long now.

I've been doing research & struggling w/the idea of attempting the raw diet & your before & after pics have definitely helped me. I have food issues & am in therapy for it. One of my biggest weight loss fears is the saggy skin. There also aren't any farmer's markets near me & fruits & veggies are incredibly expensive. I'm trying to overcome my fears & obstacles to just go ahead & do it. Thank you for posting your pics.

What a remarkable change RAW food gave you. You look amazing! It's great inspiration. I'm on day 3 of RAW Food and seeing this helps me know I'm on the right path! Thank you for sharing!
When starting out did you do mostly smoothies?

I didn't discover green smoothies for a few months. I ate raw food and dis short fasts. It totally worked, and still works for me!
Welcome to raw!

I am 57 years old and am at least 300 lbs. My scale wont read higher than that so I do not really know. I started raw the 13th of july 2011 so this is my 10th day. All in all after just this short time I see a diffrence in alot of things. I have read that eating coked foods causes my body to react as though it has been poisoned. These pics allow me to see what is in store for me.

Bumping... Everyone MUST see this again! Aleesha's transformation is AMAZING and INSPIRING!!!!! If you can, go back to page one and look at the photos! For any who are struggling to stay raw, you CAN do it!!!! For those who are considering doing the 111 day juice feasting with us, please look at what it did for Aleesha. AND, she's HERE to encourage all of us!!!! We are very fortunate to have her here!!!!!!
I hope this didn't embarrass you Aleesha, but your example is so outstanding and I'm SO glad you'll be doing the fast with me! You're the best!!!!!! :hug

ah thanks Nee. *blush*
My transformation was very amazing for me. Unfortunately since my hysterectomy last year my body has chosen to go up in size but it's time to clean up my body and get it working properly again. I know of no better way (for myself) than to hit the reset button using a nice extended fast! So... that's what we'll be doing.
And really the cool part is... we do it together. There's just so much benefit when we fast as a group instead of individually as often we can feel alone in our struggles and triumphs. So come on everyone... let's do this!!!
