I want to make the meatloaf, but I have no walnuts...can I substitute extra almonds?
Also, I have no sunflower seeds. Can I substitute raw pepitas?

Put some almonds and pine nuts in it. That should give it a real good taste. Not to many pinenuts just a handful should do it

Yes, substitue away! I love Juliano's meatloaf and have made it several times. When I first started this lifestyle, I made it quite a bit and kept it for nibbles in the refrigerator.
Blessings.
