Kiwano Melon / Horn Melon

When I went back to Whole Foods yesterday to get another passion fruit, they had Kiwano or Horn melons. I wanted to try it, but it was either $6 or $7and the size of a small to small-medium mango. Bright coral-orange color.

Anyway, I found this about. I may have to go back and try it. Sounds wonderful (if you have lots and lots and lots of money).

Anyone else ever had them?

I would love to try one, but $5.00 (was not organic) for that little thing....? Maybe on my birthday. :)
