LOL.. and I don't mean hot as in the sexual way! (although I am pretty hot! ;) )

a few days ago after eating my lunch I felt a wave of heat come over my body and today I just made some HUGE raw rolls (collard greens with avocado/carrot/cucumber/nut cheese stuffed in them) with a pineapple red chili sauce (pineapple juice with paprika and red pepper flakes)... and after eating them I felt really, really warm!

Maybe it was the paprika and the red chili flakes but I didn't feel like I used that much.

I literally had to turn my heat down and eventually opened my window just a crack to cool off with the 11 degree cold air outside!!! I live in Central New York people where it's freezing and I just had my window open for 10 minutes! LOL! Hilarious! :D

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

thanks!

My feet have become very warm after eating raw meals -- but my hands are freezing! Go figure! :)

BTW, your raw rolls and sauce sound delish!!!

Wish I had that reaction. I'm always cold!

they were delish! sometimes I have cold hands too though! It's like I'm alternating between cold and hot.. but then again it is 9 degrees here today, so I'm not sure if it's food or the weather or what.

maybe I'll try making it again and see if I get the same reaction.

Before raw I was always cold as well. When you are 100% raw you feel warm all the time but when I do a water fast I feel really hot!
I did also notoce that using salt is counterproductive for me.
The cleaner your system is, the better your inner heater works :D

Do you possibly have any allegeries to any of the ingredients? There is a younger lady at work who has allgergies to all tree nuts and soy. She inadvertantly ate something containing soy and turned a bright pink. I saw her face and told her to stop eating--she did not mention if she felt hot, though.

I am 100% raw and 100% freezing all the time. I eat ginger everyday to try to combat the cold but it doesn't do much. I wish I had the too warm problem!!!

Try the ujjayi breathing, it does always work when it's -20-25°C here.
