I chose to get back on board with raw by starting with a one week green smoothie & water only fast, followed by another 14 days of 100% raw. I'm on day 11 of the process, still having smoothies for breakfast and lunch. I noticed that I immediately started experiencing a deep sleep once I started the green smoothie fast. Also, I haven't been feeling tired.
How about you? What have green smoothies done for you (in how many days/weeks)?

Green Smoothies have helped reduce and relieve cravings. I planning on doing another Green Smoothie fast here in a few days and tell ya more. ;)

Green smoothies really do help with cravings (sweets), give me energy and feel so good on my digestion.

Thanks everyone, for your responses. I'm inspired by other people's testimonies and since quite a few people here seem to be doing some type of GS fast, I'm curious to know what the individual testimonies are. I know they're different for different people. (I also wonder if anyone has used GS to assist elderly/sick people.) I pulled my Green for Life book the other day to read some of the testimonies again. They're more fuel for my journey.
Hopefully you can get into Valerie's green smoothie experiment
Thanks, Veganforlife. I read Valerie Winter's blog when I found in on line over a year ago. That's Inspiration! I looked for the blog a few weeks ago, but looks like it's been removed. Has anyone heard from Valerie lately? I wonder how things are going with her now.
I will go back an read more of her posts here.

I read many of Valerie Winters' posts in the past couple of days and wanted ro re-read her blogs (which have been removed). Tried to find cached blogs by doing a google search for her green smoothie experiment, but wasn't successful. Does anyone know if Valerie has any blogs, posts or interviews online since she removed her blog at blogspot.com?
