View Full Version : Should Olive Oil be kept in the fridge

since it says to keep out of heat and light? When I put it in our fridge, it seems to freeze up at the beginning, but if I take it out for a couple of minutes, then it goes back to its normal form. Is it really freezing up, or is that the way it's supposed to be?

Storing at the room temperature is fine.

Room temp is fine. It does however go rancid quickly (2 months) so its good to keep it in a dark bottle. Refrig doesn't hurt it though either just makes it harder to use.

Keep it in the dark pantry as well.
