So I hear a lot of talk about raw apple cider vinegar (which I have) but that's about it. Is that the only kind of vinegar most people use? I love balsamic on my salads with some good evoo, is there any reason not to use balsamic?

It's all up to you. Truth be told, I use Balsamic from time to time as I enjoy the taste. Doesn't seem to bother me but it's only a very small amount with EVOO.
The raw food police won't come & get you if you use it .LOL:)
Hope this helps,
Lana

I remember reading a while back that some balsamic vinegars have lead in them......

Please give us some source information on the lead issue in Balsamic Vinegar. Have used some very well aged products and certainly do not wish to compromise my health for taste.
