Question about flaker

I ordered the flaker for rolled oats, wheat, etc. and was so excited when it arrived but is it susposed to flake very slowly and very small pieces. When I say slow I mean 10+ minutes for a cup; and the flakes are smaller than a rice grain - more like coarse ground meal. I tried all 3 settings. Thanks for your input.

You might be going in the wrong direction. Make sure you've got it clamped on the table. You can use the #2 or #3 setting.
