Two Words: Alissa's book. It is amazing! You will find so much great information in there! It is an awesome resource to have.

Alissas book

the problem is the more you read the more confused you can become as a beginner. There are some different approaches to being raw, some emphasize on food combining, other are not vegan and allow certain meats, milk products, others are big on fasting and enemas and sometimes the information you read contra dicts sth you just read in a different book

If you are a beginner stay with Alissa until you have the urge to know more. You can also check at the end of her book what other literature she recommends I think she is mentioning David Wolfe a couple of times

Alissa's book, of course.

Im fond of Nomi Shannon the Raw Gourmet. Easy, gourmet, delicious recipes and some beautiful pictures as well.

If you are interested in knowing more about the nutritional content of certain certain fruits and vegetables, and their healing properties, Rawsome by Bridget Mars.

Yes, Alissa's book, but also Green For Life at http://www.rawfamily.com A very IMO book on raw foods! It will set you on the right track, and make you "think"!

Also listen to http://rawkinradio.com/ interviews, they are all a boatload of information!

Alissa's book and DVD are really all you'll need....but another one I've enjoyed is Ani Phyo.

I think it's very important to reclaim our brains and read lots of lots of books on this important topic.

buy Alissa's book and have the library do inter-library loan on forty more!

Use the search buttons for the word books. It'll come up with a plethora from previous threads:)
