Just got some sheets and was wondering what are some great combos to have with the dried seaweed. Have never tried them before and don't know if I will like them. Thinking perhaps the inside will make the outside taste good.
So...what's your favs?

My favorite is what I am actually eating now.
Asian salad wrapped in nori
iceberg lettuce
avocado
dressing:
orange juice (3 oranges)
1/2 lemon juiced
nama shoyu
tahini
ginger
garlic
blend it, pour it over the salad, put some of the salad in the nori, eat both
it makes a lot of dressing, but I like mine soupy and it makes the nori soft
I eat this almost every day of my life!!!

I take nori strips and use them to wrap a mixture of radish sprouts, avocado, ginger, and shiso leaf. It's a spicy yet refreshing combo!

What I can't get enough of is the cheeze sauce ('da bomb recipe floating around here), sauerkraut, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. I LOVE IT!
I also like wrapping up Kim Chi and eating that.
I perfer to let my Nori sit until it is soft and eat it. I've eaten it right away after making a wrap, but like it rubbery (softer).

My favorite combo is tahini, avocado, sunflower sprouts, mock tuna (recipe on here somewhere), cucumber, carrot, a schmear of miso, lemon juice, and nama shoyu.

Sunflower Seed Pate (SF seeds, nama shoyu, fresh garlic, fresh lemon juice) spread thinly on Nori,
A layer of whatever rice substitute you use on top of that.
Then a row of marinated sliced mushrooms and/or Mock Tuna
A row of sliced avocado
Finely shredded (or julienned) carrot or yam
Brocolli Sprouts
The pate really makes it rock for me.

I still need to try the cheeze sauce on nori rolls.. it doesn't sound good at all to me so I havn't been able to bring myself to try it.. but I keep hearing it's awesome so someday I'm going to work up the nerve and try it, lol.. :D

I like to spread Alissa's Mock Salmon Pate on a nori sheet and put Alissa's Kim Chee on top of that and roll it up and eat it. Mmmm.
