Today is day four raw and i tried to make my own juice. I chopped up half a cucumber, some lettuce, and a slice of apple. Now I'm drinking this frothy foamy juice. It tastes ok but is nothing like the one I got from the health store. I don't know if it's cuz I used normal lettuce instead of romaine or if I was supposed to peel the cucumber and apple. I didn't peel them, just washed and chopped. I have no idea what I'm doing..
And is it normal to make you so "burpy?"

Was what you got from the health store bottled or freshly squeezed in front of you?
IF bottled, probably not raw.
A lot depends on the juicer you use and the amount of varying ingredients. Health food stores often use top-of-the-line industrial juicers as do manufactured bottled juices. They wont taste the same and they're not going to sell you foam.
The first time I had carrot juice (from a can) I almost upchucked it. I never thought I'd like carrot juice until I made my own.
What kind of juicer do you have?
Yeah, cukes'll make ya burpy. Sip the juice, don't gulp and use a darker lettuce ~ romaine, kale, spring mix, spinach, etc.

It was made freshly, not bottled. My blender is one I found for 20 bucks at walmart. What can I change to make it more liquified? Was I supposed to peel the stuff?

My Jack La Layne (not the best juicer but it is what I could afford) pretty much makes everything frothy - you can use a soup ladle and skim it from the top. I do some with peel and some without never really notice a difference - still lots of froth.

It take much more produce to make a healthy and good tasting juice. Trying juicing a whole cucumber, a whole apple-preferably several of both and then add in the lettuce. More types of ingredients are good too. You don't need to peel.

Also you want to either add more flavorful foods like beets or ginger or higher quantity of ones like apples. Cucumber doesn't have much flavor, but is high in nutrient and water content. Carrots are a great way to get more juice and flavor. But make sure to balance the sugars of carrots & apples with things like greens or celery.

are you BLENDING with a blender or juicing?
You can make green smoothies in a blender but you need a juicer to make juice.

A blender, it said liquify was one of its things it does. I know I will need to get a juicer soon. Just trying not to break the bank so quickly. Last night I spent 76$ for some herbal natural liver cleaners and frozen shots of wheatgrass. and i don't leave the grocery with less than 50$ worth of raw produce. I know my health is well worth investing in though:) I imagine adding water or ice or would make it a little less goopy.I drank it all with a straw this morning and chunks would get stuck in the straw.

Unless you strained out the fiber in a nut milk, paint strainer, or similar bag, then what you made is a green smoothie, not juice. Juice doesn't contain fiber, ever, no matter what - even if the contents have been "liquified" in a blender. That's what makes it juice - no fiber.
Green smoothies are awesome, too, and many would argue they are even better than juice as they are whole foods.
If you are going to be using your blender and drinking green smoothies, you may want to search the forums for "green smooties," as there are a couple of long threads with lots and lots of recipes in them.
ETA:
Most people do add some water (or nutmilk or whatever raw liquid they like, depending on what kind of smoothie they're making) into their green smoothies to make them a more drinkable consistency.

I got the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth for Christmas, about $50. Not the best juicer in the world, but it is doing ok. Most juice is frothy. Pears were really frothed up. But it was a delish pear/apple combo. I am enjoying the jucer.
I also make green smoothies in my dumb ol' Oster Blender. It has been good so far. Just keep experimenting and you will find what clicks.
Good luck!
