this is stupid but I just want to make sure.......I will get this down one day guys really I promise :o ..
okay these are found in your regular grocery store...
bulgar wheat ....just plain used to make tabouli
in the ethinc section there is cocunut milk and coconut water
I used it to make the best Thai food (cooked) so I was wonderinf if its raw and I can use it for smoothies

I am pretty darn sure that bulgar wheat is pre cooked. That is why you only need to add water to make it soft.
Canned coconut milk and coconut water has been heat processed. If you can find a coconut in the produce department and learn how to open them, then you will be using raw coconut products.

If you can't sprout it, it's not really raw. Try soaking a grain for an hour or so and then placing it on a damp towel. It should sprout a little tail if it's raw.
If it's in a can it's been cooked. It may not be raw it's in a jar in the regrigerated section either, but that is up to debate.
