Alright so I'm new to the forum and raw foods. This is my second day of eating just raw foods! I feel a lot more energetic and "cleaner". In my house we have a lot of organic canned beans and lentils, and I wanted to know if these are considered acceptable for a raw-foods diet.
The only ingredients in most of them are prepared organic beans, water, and sea salt. Is this okay to eat?!

They are most assuredly cooked so not raw at all.

Even if they were raw, beans are not something you'd want to eat. They're toxic when raw and probably taste horrible.

Not if you want to be raw. They must be heated to be canned ~ at a very high temperature.
If it's bottled, packaged, canned, it's not raw unless it states it and even then it's very suspect.

So Happy you are feeling so well after a few days on RAW. Well I guess the beans won't work but you can always donate them to a Food Bank if there is no one else to eat them. Again Welcome and soon you will be answering My questions. Have a RAW Day.

This is my second day on raw too, i wouldn't touch anything to do with can food at all, 100% raw for me with the exception of frozen berries.
