There is a blogger that does indian raw food. I think his blog is called Roshi's raw life, just google it. :)

Roshi's raw is a great blog. Pesto w/o nuts:
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sundried tomatoes (optional)
Chop basil and sundried tomatoes (if using) in a food processor. The pour in the olive oil in a thin, steady stream until well combined.

Heh, I see you got the same advice here as you did at Gone Raw. ;)

One thing I like to do is simply to throw a bunch of garam masala on or in whatever I am eating at the time. At first this didn't really cure me of my Indian cravings at all, it just inflamed them, actually, but over time, it has begun to work really well.

The last time I had Indian at my very favorite South Indian place, it was good, kinda, but it just tasted dead to me - and with good reason, because it was dead.
I am grateful that over times my taste buds have gotten to where they are wanting less "old cooked favorites" and usually just crave raw, live, food, period.

I agree that for recipes, Roshi's is your ticket. :)

I just made a good rice dish that had a mix of parsnips & sweet potatoes as the rice base. I liked it better than either by themselves.

Well I tried to make my own Indian dish it was a experiment gone wrong, lol. I tried to make saag paneer without the paneer (Cheese), lol. I used cashews and some other seasonings and spinach, not sure it was so long ago, it was to heavy for me but my husband ate it all.

Veg B, sounds pretty hard to make without rice.. Maybe cauliflower could work.

Brigitte Mars in her book 'Rawsome' has a recipe like this, using macadamia nuts in lieu of the paneer. It was pretty good, but I also thought it was heavy.

In the link that I posted on this thread, cubes of avocado are used in place of the paneer.
