AARRRRGGGG!!!! Somebody PLEASE help me!!!
I need to get it out of my head that I need to eat specifically BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER.... Trying to "FIND" a meal to eat is driving me CRAZY!!!! Believe me, I "KNOW" that I don't "NEED" BREAKFAST, LUNCH, and DINNER, but that I "NEED" to eat when my body is hungry, but old thinking keeps creeping up and I find myself searching Alissa's book for somethiing to "FIX", instead of "COOKING"...
I'm sure my thinking needs to continue to be adjusted... Drinking the Smoothies is helping, but I still find myself going back to thinking, "O.K., what am I going to eat for "Dinner"?
Have you gotten over thinking that way?

I used to love to make dinner but just let everyone graze on fruit or salads or whatever, the rest of the time, so it wasn't a big transition for me.
I would try to look at it like this:
You are now free from making dinner! You can just whip something up to sate your hunger when it arises, but your evenings are now yours to do other things! :)

wow you actually made me think....
deeper into my fears...
why can't i stop eating... at all the times i'm at home....
it's like i've got nothing more interesting to do :|
I don't really know what are my interests and why don't i do them and what is this bored, unbelieving, disapointed part of me which just throws all the ideas away...
I do have the wish to do more.. but i'm so disapointed for some reason...
so i rather enjoy some food or some not so interesting doing like computer or tv or anything in which i dont really have to think or deal with anything...
interesting thought though... you really made me want to go deeper into myself and seek for the answers... food? emotions suppressed? i would really love to hear others thoughts about it... some tips or guideness, videos, artickles on this way... why don't we do the thing we like and prefer to burry ourself in nothingness and food? !
I wonder if you feel the same ReneeH?
sorry to use this thread if not ^_^ it just the comment you got made me realise and go deeper into myself.. so thank you for posting !!!

I find Nothing wrong with eating Three meals and snacks. I do eat Breakfast, Lunch and an Early Dinner. If I get hungry later in the evening I drink some water and tell My body to wait until Morning. Even with RAW, I don't think there is a need to eat just because its there, especially if you have been RAW for a while.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Renee!
I eat "breakfast" "lunch" and "dinner" because I am hungry when I wake up, I am hungry 6 hours later, and, you got it, I'm hungry again 6 hours after that! :)
I should also say that I'm not a 'grazer' and rarely snack because I don't like the feeling of eating all the time, but that is just me. Many people do well with grazing.
Or is the thing that is bothering you the idea that you *have* to eat "breakfast-type" food for the first meal of the day and have a big "dinner-type" meal at night?

Masha: Wow! Your thoughts are definitely thought-provoking! Thank you so much for sharing! I sometimes feel that way too...I think because I'm taking this semester off from homeschooling and trying to fill my days with something other than my next meal.
HolyGuac: Unfortuntely, I still have to make dinner for my family, which I'm sure is the problem. But, it's less stress for me to think the way you suggested and not worry about what I'm gonna make for "ME"... Thank you so much!!!
Spicefull: HUMMM... Yea, I see what you're saying... I would love to see your menu for the past day or so. What did you eat at "mealtime"?
RawLibrarian: I am definitely a grazer!!! You hit the nail on the head: Breakfast-type/Lunch-type/Dinner-type food is what I'm going crazy with. I think that's what I search Alissa's book for when it's "time" to eat. Our society has really brainwashed people to think that way!!! And, I feel like when I finally let that thinking go, I will finally "GET IT..." What you said makes so much sense! Thank you so much!!!
