All my food is raw except for my last meal ..which usually includes chicken or fish and veggies

I am having very bad bad sinus and allergy problems been going on for two weeks now....I dont know if I'm allergic or what, Also I'm soo tired it seems after I eat a cooked meal I feel better, but during the day I can't breathe and cant get out of bed......
what is this?

What kinds of raw foods are you consuming regularly?

My theory.... When your body gets a cold, it's trying to expell the illness through various methods, sore throat (sending a lot of white blood cells causes a bit of swelling), sneeze, cough, making you sleepy.... I think the same is true with allergies. Like one last, big hurrah so that you don't have to deal with them any more.

I had about 2 weeks of wicked hay-fever after going raw but no one else seemed to be having allergies... I think I was hypersensitive at the time and my body seemed to clean house. After 2 weeks, I was good. My allergies aren't gone but they're better than they've ever been.

I have to wonder if it has something to do with the chicken & fish you are eating at night. It can take 48 hours sometimes to digest animal products, that would make anyone tired. Have you tried having a huge salad with avo at night instead? Can you try that for a couple of nights and see how you feel the next day?

Very possibly your body is attempting to detox. Eating cooked foods and animal products will stop the detox which is why you feel "better" i.e. numb.

It's like a drug. When folk are detoxing (what they call "colds" and "flus"), they take drugs to feel "better". The drugs do not assist in the elimination process, they assist in numbing the person so they don't have to feel what's going on. Eventually, they will have to detox from the drugs.

Eventually, you will have to detox from the cooked and the animals. IF you allow yourself time to fully detox this time, then go 100% raw, next detox will possibly be less ~ in depth and duration.

hi vixana. The first two days that I started to eat raw foods, I did not feel too good in the afternoon and then ate cooked foods. I was also at a conference at the time. After that I ate raw all day. The hardest times for me , in the afternoon and at night. The last meal. Just try to eat raw for one day , then the next day, then the next day.....
