Id like to know what others think of this or if they ever tried it. Due to time constraints and small Kitchen space and lack of Kitchen Equipment, im going to go 100% Raw Vegan, but my ONLY sources of greens will be
These Various Popular, Hugely Promoted Raw Grass Powders such as Vitamineral Green , Pure Synergy, Spirulina, and E3Live Algae, along with Organic Fruits and Fats. Has anyone else out there ever tried this for a few Months ?
My reason for doing this is Convienence and its the quickest easiest way to go Raw and get your greens in for someone in my situation. id like to know if im the only one whos ever tried this ?
Also im very curious to find out the real true Nutritional value of all these various Green 'superfoods' and Powders out there that claim they are 100 percent 'raw' and extremely Nutrient Dense. Are they really as Nutritious and Alive as the makers of them claim, or are they just totally overhyped overrated marketing Nonsense as some Raw food Teachers say ?
im about to find out !
thanks,
Dave

Good luck with your experiment :) . Much (but not all) of my greens when I am at school are in the form of raw green powder. I'll take those greens in any form I can get.

You don't need much time or space to make a huge green salad with lots of added veggies. I love kale salad. it's inexpensive and when i make it I make enough to last a couple of days.
When I went raw I had a $10 blender from Walmart that I still use. Some day I hope to get a Vitamix but my cheap blender has done me well for over a year.
Don't get me wrong, I hope you do well on your journey but I would hate for you to get boared and give up. Raw is such a wonderful lifestyle and it's easier than a lot of people think.
Good luck to you.

I used Nutiva hemp powder for awhile, and it seemed to stabilize my energy level, so I'm going to assume it was "OK" for me.
I used to think I was good with one big salad a day, but I still had major energy crisis and alot of my major health issues were still hanging on... I finally read Green For Life by Victoria Boutenko, and a light went on in my head! Ah-ha!!! I am not chewing the greens well enough to GET all the amazing nutrients into my system! So, why not blend them? :D
I'm a staunch Green Smoothie advocate myself, since I've watched my DF lose weight, shed candida, and have the energy of a teenager (when in reality, he's 40 yrs old!! ) on a 50% Green Smoothie diet. I've made this month my 30 Day Personal Green Smoothie Challenge month (30 days of 1 quart of GS/daily, minimum!) to see what I can benefit from these amazing concoctions! :)
So - greens, greens!!! Get them how you can!!!!! And if you're restricted to the powders, than so be it! It's better than nothing. :D

Fresh greens are very important for your diet. The powders are meant to supplement it. If you have no choice, those products are good quality and recommended by the majority of raw experts and foodists. But if you can use at least one fresh green per day, that would be helpful. It's simple enough to add greens to a smoothie or soup.
Look forward to hearing more about your experiment. Regardless it's way healthier than most diets.

I saw some nutritional info for Vitamineral Green at http://rawfromthefarm.com/supplements.aspx. Their prices aren't too bad, either.

I have just started to take the Pure Synergy about two weeks ago in addition to my planning on doing the raw challenge the first of the year. I am always hungry so I figured I wasn't getting the vitamins & minerals my body needed. I can tell that they do help with my appetite and I'm thinking they will supplement what I'm not getting when I don't eat properly or enough greens. I mean they have so much in them and foods that I couldn't begin to have in my kitchen. So, I am doing it for a jump start into raw and may stop them when they are gone.
