I see from searching on here to start with small amounts. It's the dead of winter here and I live in a rural area (and apartment) to get a lot of fresh greens right now. Which of these (or suggest another?) would be best to add to smoothies?

I love Alissa's green food powder . You can buy it here in your store. I tried Spirulina when I first started and could not stomach the taste no matter how little I put in (to me it taste like swamp) there are others here who like it though. Everyone is different.

Spirulina is fishy, but I grew to LOVE it. Called them "fish smoothies" when I used it. Actually it tastes a lot like a boiled egg.

I use both in my smoothies, 1 t. to 1 T. of each, depending on how green I want it.

Spirulina can work in smoothies if you either use a small amount or add a lot of fruit. Works even better if make it in a recipe such as an avocado spinach dip or soup. Vitamineral Green is suppose to be the most powerful. Chlorella I like the best taste-wise. It can easily be made into a soup or you can chew the tablets. Then there's also Pure Synergy, which is milder tasting than Vitamineral Green but different ingredients.
Not to confuse you or anything. ;)
