I hope this is not a really dumb question but is it possible to grow basil, rosemary, thyme, parsley in doors during the winter without alot of sunshine for the chlorophyll???? (I live in Ohio). Thanks for any advice. :o

Put by your sunniest window (not so close that they would freeze, though). Should do okay. I put my mint separate from my other herbs as it requires so much more water. Good luck and please keep us posted.

Absolutely it is possible. However, plants tend to have a sense about the season in their area. You may not get as big of a yield as in spring or summer, but keep them, yes, at your sunniest window and/or the room with the lights most frequently on, especially if you use those (awful) low-wattage flourescent bulbs. They love it. Bad for us, good for them, like many things.

Good luck and happy gardening!! :D

The aerogarden looks so expensive and so small...

I'm going to be growing veggies/herbs here in a month or two when it arms up
