The Cuisinart model is on sale right now at Macy's - will be so-o hopping on downtown for this! Mouth-watering here over the recipes that I'll finally be able to make, as I love creative un-cooking! Raw pies, energy bars, amazing pates, dips, whatever, here I come!

Cuisinart is a very good brand! I have a small one that has lasted 8 years so far and is still good as new.

caraa4art, Congratulations on your upcoming purchase. I was afraid of my food processor before I watched the video that came with it--then realized how silly. It has been well used since. Oh I know I'll have fun and some stuff will be so much easier. Alas, though, I'm a complete klutz with a camera - I can't take a picture of ANYTHING and have it come out at all. My husband's a photographer though but I'm not sure he'd take pix of food for me.
