Here are a few things:
Protect your liver
helps your eyesight
improves sexual function and fertility
boost your immune system
improves circulation
promotes longevity
I have not yet tried them but have scene recipes that call for it in smoothies and some desserts.

"Goji berries are shown to trigger the pituitary gland to release growth hormone, so they are an excellent choice for a post-workout recovery smoothie or a great addition to your last meal of the day." - Christy

Goji Berries contain 18 amino acids-including all 8 essential amino acids, 21 trace minerals, protein, vitamins A, C, zinc, iron, phosphorus, riboflavin (B2), vitamin E, and carotenoids including beta-carotene. Goji berries strengthen the immune system and may stimulate release of rejuvenative human growth hormone by the pituitary gland. Goji berries have been related as strength building, adding longevity and linked to sexual potency. In some study groups with elderly people given goji berries they showed increased optimism, appetite improvement, patients slept better, and some patients partially or fully recovered their sexual function. Some claim that the Goji is a spiritually significant food.

I made a snack for myself this evening with goji berries and some nuts in a bowl. my cat came on my lap and stole several and ate them right down. I hope they are as good for him as they are for humans. I have only started eating them recently, so don't have any results to report, yet.

Does anyone have any great green smoothie recipes that include goji berries?? I just picked some up on a whim at my natural health food store and want to incorporate them.

I made a smoothie this morning with a couple of pears, a couple handfuls of spinach, a small handful goji berries, a squirt of flaxseed oil, and water. I don't really love the taste of goji berries, but in a smoothie they are just fine!

I occasionally eat them plain (as you would raisins). Have used them in trail mix, raw cacao recipes, and other desserts too.
