I am so happy to have discovered eating raw foods and extremely grateful to have made the commitment to go raw. Now I'm at 3 weeks 3 days and it seems every day is a revelation to me. My past obsession with food really shut a lot of my life out. Here's just some of what has happened to me on raw food:
weight has gone from 221 to 208 (I'm 5'5")
allergies have almost completely disappeared
back pain is gone
constant headaches are completely gone
obsession with binging is gone
depression has lifted
skin is clearing up
blood sugar has gone normal
anxiety has decreased
spider veins in my legs are disappearing
hair is shinier
I smell better!
It really helps me in my commitment to be good to myself and get the best possible health for me to remind myself of all these positive things.
Want to post your good stuff? I would love to read it!!

Shannon, that's sooooooooo awesome! I'm so happy for you and I'm sure your family is too.
It's such a good idea to keep a list of the things that are improving as you get healthier and healthier. Show this list to other people who think you're crazy for eating this way and THEN see what they have to say.
Keep going, you're doing great!
God's Peace

I know what you are going through. I am at 25 days, and much the same for me.
I am sleeping better (which is a huge bonus because I have a 2 1/2 year old and an 8 month old)
no more back pain
clearer skin
stronger healthier hair
dropped from 205 to 180lbs
and completly rid myself of environmental allergies :)
This is the list I show people when they turn their nose to my new lifestyle changes, it makes them really think about it. Plus people can really tell something is up just by looking at me.
Keep up the good work.

Congratulations Shannon and Marie. I'm well into my second month and just loving the benefits of raw. I just got back from a vacation with my family. Out of all of us, including my 25 yr old niece and her husband, I had the most energy. They may have asked a lot of questions about raw, but no one disagreed that it was working wonderful for me. I took my 9 yr old niece to the seal caves in Oregon. There is a lot of up stairs and hills. She was dragging herself to the top and I was just hoofing it. It felt great.
I'm still waiting for my skin to sparkle, but my eyesight has been steadily improving. I've never been one to be ill or have alergies so I can't comment there. All I know is that on raw I feel better than I have ever felt in my life. I'm losing weight at a steady rate and I feel happier all the time. I keep waiting for the euphoria of raw to diminish, but there is that nagging voice inside my head that says it never will.
