Polyp

Does anyone have or have had any polyps in their intestines? Or have known anyone who had/have..? What did they do?
I recently found one in my large intestine. Wondering what people did before and after surgery, if you had surgery.. If you didn't how come, what are you doing now about it? :confused::confused:
Just looking to read some experiences and figure out what the best options are for me...

I have know people with polyps in the colon and intestines of which they had the polyps removed. For the colon ones - they are high risk for becoming cancerous. For the intestine since polyps grow they were concerned with instestinal blockage and a very small chance of them of them being cancerous. After they were removed they were perfectly fine the next day.
