Any raw food places in Woodstock, NY or health food stores I should visit when I am there? My hubby and I are going for a black crowes show and I'd love to eat raw the entire time.

There IS a health food store in Woodstock, but it's very disappointing. There is a GREAT one though near there in Saugerties. I wish I remembered the name, but you could probably google it and find it. It was GREAT. There's also a restaurant in Woodstock, and it's a 2 story restaurant on the left side as you're headed west I think (see the triangle toward your right, pass that, and then the restaurant is red and on the left). They made me a special raw food meal when I told them what I eat. It was fabulous! I think they have lots of vegan choices too, if I remember correctly, but they also have meat/seafood.
I would warn you NOT to go to the vegetarian restaurant right in the triangle area. We had an awful experience, the food sucked, it's very overpriced, and there weren't really any raw options.

thanks! I can't seem to find the place in Saugerties but I'll keep looking! I'm really excited to try some raw food products or meals in another city! We will be going at the end of February. :D

anymore woodstock tips? any locals who would want to hang out for a bit or have lunch? I would love to dine on some raw food with a local woodstockian!
