The local paper was a weekly addition that has recipes and a couple other things in it re: entertaining. So last week when it came in the mail, I glanced at it and realized that it was all about having a VEGAN holiday dinner. As I looked closer EVERY SINGLE recipe was RAW!!!! They never even mentioned raw in the accompanying article, but all 4 recipes to serve to your guests were raw. I was thinking "How wonderfully sneaky of them!: LOL! If the article had gone on and on about raw vegans, it *may* have turned lots of people off right from the first line, even seasoned cooked vegans who heart their tofurkey.

now, that's a success! You could apply for a new job then if they need some more raw recipes :D

awesome. i could probably learn a thing or two from them regarding marketing raw.
when i say i love greens & fruits and just like to eat a lot of them, no problem people accept that with almost no questions.
but if I, in any way, imply i'm a raw vegan - they get antsy and their eyes start glazing over. and of course the next question is if I eat raw meat. LOL. never fails...always the raw meat question.
hahaaa.

RawHeaven-you just reminded me of a story. My dc went raw with me back in Sept for a few months. My son was explaining to a friend that we only eat raw foods and the boy totally confused and exasperated blurted "Then how the heck do you eat CHICKEN?!?!?!?" (as if it were mandatory. LOL!)
