When I harvest my wheatgrass, should I juice all of it and freeze it, or should I just juice what I need each day?

You know, when my flat of wheatgrass is done, it has enough grass for 14-18 ounces. My instructions say to put it in the fridge and juice as you would like. But seeing as how this would last me two weeks, it doesn't seem like a good idea to put it all in the fridge for that time...

Any ideas?

Also, if it is a better idea to freeze it, what is the best way of thawing it without losing nutrients?

Don't have the answer, but how about you seed your flat in sections, one every day or two. That way you can cut what's ready every day. Just a thought.

Never cut your Grass and store it to be Juiced later. It is best to cut the grass and juice it at the same time. You can freeze your juice after you have juiced it but it is Always best to juice and drink at the same time.

I would let it though in the Fridge or at room temperature.

You can also let the Grass grow another (crop) again and juice that before you throw it into the compost bin. It is possible to cut/juice and clean your juicer in less than 10 minutes.

And how do I freeze it? What's the best way of doing this?

You don't Freeze the Grass, you Freeze the Juice. You can use an Ice Tray, Freeze it, then remove them and bag them up, when you are ready to use just defrost one cube in the Fridge or at room Temperature. Hope this works for you.
