I am wondering if there are a lot of recipes in here or few recipes and lots of filler.

Lots of recipes, very beautiful pictures and really good articles and interviews. It is excellent. There are some ads in the back, but they are all for raw stuff and not too many. I love this magazine and would never recycle any of them.=)

It is Maraw's magazine btw, one of the most fantastic raw chefs ever--search for her posts here.

Sadly, I read recently that she is battling with cancer..it's unusual to feel such concern over someone I only know from RFT and a magazine.

I know you'll enjoy her magazine, it is really fantastic--

I have long been a big fan of Maraw's creative and delicious recipes on RFT. Plus she is VERY helpful and kind. I think I need to subscribe!

I'm so sad to hear of her condition, I wish her a safe and quick recovery to perfect health.

See it? I practically LIVE there, longing for the day they will put up another raw food recipe vid. Those recipe vids are the BEST vids ever!

There is info on her website that someone else (Rebecca Carlson = another fantastic woman) is now publishing the mag. It's obviously not the greatest time to have the pressure from the magazine!

The magazine is great, by the way -- and always has some great recipes. :)

The 2009 Winter Issue will be released in January. It has been completely redesigned.

It has some interesting information on how to win the battle with cravings, an article discussing the link between moods and food (depression), breaking bad habits, previously unpublished recipes from Chef Chad Sarno, a RAW101 section (to share with friends and family), a Q+A by Matt Monarch, Winter Skin make at home spa treatments, and recipes from Snowdrop's new book, and results from the reader survey, etc.

Wow I got my back issues and the dvd in the mail yesterday- that was superfast! I am fasting now so will not temp myself by reading them just yet but did skim through a few pages and what a lovely magazine. I am happy with the fast service and wonderful magazine.

I would highly recommend getting a subscription.:D
