So I've been debating whether to use, oj, water or coconut water as a base for my chocolate green smoothie, I didn't think oj would work, didn't want to try water, and couldn't find any coconut water at the store, so I picked up a box of Celestial Seasonings Chocolate tea, I thought it was just chocolate, but turns out it was Chocolate Chai, anwhoo...
I used:
4 oz of green juice, with another 4-6 oz strong chocolate chai tea
frozen bananas
cocoa powder
vitamineral greens
couple of handfuls of spinach
dash of vanilla
agave
this came out so freaking good I couldn't believe it, I could pack as many greens in this smoothie as possible and still not taste them, I loved it!
Now, the iced tea is not raw, and I used cocoa instead of cacao for personal reasons, but the goal is getting greens in for me so I wasn't concerned with that.
I just got some actual chocolate hazelnut tea that I brewed really strongly and am getting ready to make another smoothie, the chocolate chai was nice, the spices added a different flavor, but I'm ready for full on chocolate, and hazelnut is always nice!

Sounds good...I usually use almond milk but sometimes tulsi tea chai masala and the spices are very good.

I did use almond milk before, and I loved how creamy it made my smoothies, but I find my system does better with food combining, so that's where the tea came in.
