Autumn's Coconut Scrub
Mix:
1c. Virgin coconut oil
3/4-1 c. Sea Salt - depends on personal preference
Setting the oil jar on top of running dehydrator for a short while helps in liquifing oil to mix salt in.
(Testing Pineapple scent portion of this presently)

I love coconut oil - can't keep enough of it on hand. I use it for just about everything in the winter time (great for your hair, moisturizer, in smoothies etc.) The other day my neice hugged me and said I smelled like a coconut :D

Wow - that sounds excellent! I've got some sea salt, and I already have and swear by extra-virgin coconut oil anyway, for body moisturizer used straight, and for face, mixed in with unrefined shea butter. Coconut oil is great on curly hair too, which I have. I use it as a leave-in before I apply gel and it really helps(since I still color my hair, not being quite ready to give up the bottle!) Good at removing eye makeup too. Coconut oil rules!

To all three of you,
What brand of coconut oil do you use?
Thanks!

I use the Nutiva extra-virgin coconut oil. At first I bought a 13-oz. jar of this, and then my co-op here in SF started carrying it in their wet bulk department, saving me money. In bulk at the co-op, it is only 4.95 per lb. vs. $11 for a 13-oz. jar. Loving it! That is ALL I use on my body for moisturizing - would never go near a lotion ever again!
