i'm noticing all cacao powder is not created equal. was in arizona for a while and had a regular supply of AMAZING cacao but am now in columbus ohio and can't find any. bought a big bag of nibs at whole foods and they taste awful.

i am willing to shop online if anyone has suggestions?

which one is your favourite please?

I use Navitas, which I like - my HFS and co-op both carry the whole line of products - lucuma, maca, goji, etc.

I've also heard the mlm elements for life brand is good, but I haven't tried it.

thanks everyone.

i think the cacao powder i was using in AZ might have been cocoa powder, which is why it was so yummy on it's own. have to look into that....

Hi Pitaya:
I'm from the far west side of Columbus, midway between Columbus and West Jefferson near Darby Battelle Park. I've been 'playing' with the raw food diet for a year, but am only at 50%. I realize it's an aquired taste, but my taste buds refuse to develop a taste for it so my 50% consists of raw cereal, smoothies both green and fruit, salads and desserts. I've tried so many recipies and it all ends up in the garbage, so I've given up. Hope you're doing better than I am. The cacao isn't good by itself, but I do like it in my fruit smoothies, especially the caffeine effect! I order mine from Nuts On Line. Carolyn
