So I have some great news! Less than a mile away is a raw/vegan grocery store that I've NEVER known of my entire life. They have a cafe that opens in an hour or so that I'm taking my mom to, and a section about raw food books. They even have raw crackers and such.. they are WAY too expensive in my opinion though (like, 11 bucks). I picked up a pepper, cucumbers some organic bananas mmm.. oh and some organic apples.
Organic organic nom nom nom. I can't wait to get some good recipes to go and try. They have literally everything. Everything.
If you live in the marietta/atlanta area, they have 10% off this weekend and 5% added flat for membership (I became a member :P) its called life foods.

OH MY GOD THE LUNCH WAS SO GOOD OH MY GOD
It was like some dehydrated bread with sprouts and oh my god it was good
My mom took a bite and was like "yuck"
She had some semi-raw avacado thing.
So while we were there were a BUNCH of raw people and a lady who lost 80 pounds in 6 months on raw and was doing raw cooking classes.
Everyone was so nice and all hippyish it was so cool, it reminds me of SoCal.

I'm SO happy for you! And so sad for me :(.
We don't have ANY cafe or restaurant that offers raw food. I was talking to a lady who came to my market tall today to by Green For Life and she was lamenting with me about the fact we have to make ALL of our own food. I just want one little place that offers maybe a couple of raw dishes and I'm there!
I'm sure it's coming soon. We are becoming a community here and someone will cotton on at some stage :).
Whinge over...

How exciting......sounds like you've found a great new place to visit. I too look at the premade crackers and cringe at the price and yet when I make my own, I can see why.....cost of GOOD ingredients and time. Enjoy your new treasured find.
