Can someone please tell me if I am on the right track here in regards to this?

I have fairly pale skin and all my life, I have burned very, very easily being out in the sunlight. However, I noticed-over the summertime-while eating raw foods-that rather than burning, my skin began to take on a very healthy glow of darker skin. And it stayed that way all summer long.

I got to thinking about this and came to the conclusion that fruits and vegetables need sunlight to thrive and flourish. If that is the case, wouldn't it stand to reason that-if we are eating raw foods-our bodies will thrive and flourish as well in the sunlight-because we are nourishing it with the foods that we were truly meant to eat?

Is this sound reasoning for this wonderful phenomena that I have experienced in regard to raw foods and sunshine?

Yes. Sunlight burning one's body is a sign of an unhealthy body.

You got the "glow" going! WOO HOO!!!!

And PLEASE? No suntan products. THEY are what causes the cancers. We are proof that one's body does NOT need those chemicals...

I totallly agree with you about the suntan products! I stopped wearing that stuff a long time ago. And as long as I am eating raw, my body will respond positively to sunlight. No suntan or sunblock needed.

That is really interesting to hear about. Something I noticed when I just stopped eating meat.....the misquitos didn't bother me, just didn't seem interested anymore.

Absolutely. I think you're right on. The sun becomes such a healer when you're raw.

I am already brown but I used to burn before raw. I would also have to wear sunglasses everywhere and a hat. I was afraid of the sun!

I went the entire summer without wearing sunglasses (only when driving and there was glare). The sun feels so good on your skin when you're raw.

I also no longer burn and love being in the Sun.

i miss the sun!!!! (east coast winter - blah!)

i agree with all here - same experience: my body loves sun, and sun gazing too. thinking about getting into some fake sun these days, probably terrible for you (tanning beds I mean). maybe one of those light boxes would be better.
