i dont pay alot of attention to recipes and rather keep my diet simple so maybe this is common and ive never seen it . but today i crushed a garlic clove over some sliced up tomato , then bit o sea salt , pepper , then squeezed the juice of half a lemon on and let it sit 60 minute and it sure turned out good . so in case anyones never tried it thought ide throw it out there .

Does sound good. Would maybe add a few basil leaves and onion slices and be in heaven.

im doing this every day and it keeps getting better ,
ecspecially with some of the not real prime/ripe green house
tomatoes in store at this time of year . the lemon really
tenders em up .

now im thinking of other things to use it on .

maybe kale / mushrooms .

its like the citric acid tames the garlic down a bit and makes it easier to digest . along with the 2 together imparting a great taste into the marinated selection .

wondering = on very very thinly sliced potato's , with other things like paprika / oregano / parsley added maybe .

Sounds good with oregano/parsley/paprika.

have you ever tried my fav mixed with yours? i think it would be great.

i take sliced toms and sprinkle with cayenne (i use a lot), curry powder, kelp powder, sea salt or smoked sea salt depending on my mood. sometimes i squeeze a lime over it as well.

so i think mixing mine up with yours... we'd have a winner!

i've done it with some sweet potatoes or yams cut like fries. a bit of olive oil, juice of a lime (or lemon) and some curry powder... mmmm really GREAT. you can even dehydrate them for about 20 minutes to warm if you want.

lee these hit the spot so perfect for me .

then yesterday i took the garlic/lemon marinated toma's
and made a tabouli type deal with parsley / olive oil / onion
and chopped all up then mixed it into some wheat seeds i had
soaking for 24 hours and  = AWESOME :) = cheap/filling/delish

and it'd prob taste better if i had let the mixture soak into the
wheat seeds a few houirs or longer so as to infuse the vegi tastes
into the wheat as opposed to it just coating the rubber seeds .
