Ok, discovered a new problem. Now that I don't have coffee in traffic...I get:mad: at other drivers. I find that I'm becoming snippy at my loving family every time I turn around. Does anyone else have this problem and how do you deal with the grouchies?:o

How long have you been off Coffee? Listen to your favorite Music as you drive. Take deep Breaths.

Also, more important -- how long have you been raw? You will find as time goes on and you become one with Mama Earth and all that she has to offer? You will be at peace...

... how do you deal with the grouchies?:o

... by looking around and finding things to appreciate. That's why I started the appreciation thread here.

I appreciate having a car that gets me where I want to go; I appreciate having the money to buy the gas; I appreciate the prices are coming down; I appreciate health; I appreciate this board... etc.

Find appreciation in your life, your attitude changes... usually. ;)

that's a great idea: thanks for reminding me, Revvell. Take care, Eva

Thank you for the responses. I've been raw for almost three years now. Off and on this year. I've been back to it for three days and I don't remember this feeling before.
Revvell...how beautiful. Thank you for that. Thankfulness is a great place to start! ;)
I'm feeling better tonight...hoping that it sort of wears off more and more as time goes by.

Yoga helps me to feel at peace when I am snippy.

ShelShel, I've been looking at your blog, and it seems to me like you don't eat a lot of greens. Sometimes you will go for days without them  . Greens help me feel at peace and stop my food cravings. Most long-term raw foodists find that they need lots of greens (1-2 pounds per day) to be healthy, mentally, emotionally, spritually and physically. Get those green leafies in, girl!

Yoga, yoga, yoga, and meditation. And greens.

I am the Queen of Snip. My family will agree. I manage this by twice weekly yoga and try to squeeze in the time to listen to meditation podcasts on my ipod outside. Due to busyness, I have been two weeks without yoga or medication and I am feeling it! Even if I don't have time to do yoga I usually listen to meditaion podcasts as I go to work on public transport, but stupid ipod is playing up!

And the greens help me keep peaceful, I think it's because they deliver a huge hit of nutrients and my body gets in balance.

Rawstrength, That is so funny. Just a half an hour ago I downed about 4 cups of spinach, broccoli and carrots. :p I try to eat what I want to eat and not make myself eat something I don't want. Since I have just begun again, after a very long break, I knew this would be the case. I always switch back to raw through fruits and the veggies work back in as I tire of all the sweet. Before I even read this post, I thought the same thing you did...where are my veggies???? LOL Well, that's about all I'm craving today. I was also energized enough to workout for 2 hours.

Perhaps now, I will feel less and less snippy. ;) Between the added greens and addition of exercise! I know yesterday was wayyyyyy better and today has just been bliss...so we shall see.

I love yoga! I'll try to add that back in on more relaxed days. Very good ideas you guys. Thanks.
