Hi--
Just wondering if anyone has a good online(?) source for obtaining good quality pinenuts that arent rancid. all the ones we get in ireland havent been refrigerated and are definitely dodgey... im back in the states for a week and would like to stock up, but my understanding is that unless they are refrigerated, pinenuts go rancid really quick and rancid nuts are really bad for us.. i was going to get some from costco, as ive seen people on this board say that they are actually raw, but i doubt they are refrigerated. i want a quality, non-rancid pine nut. doesnt have to be organic becasue i probably cant afford organics. any suggestions?
similiarly, seems all the packages of brazil nuts i have gotten, even from reputable raw foods companies, tend to have at least some rancid ones in them... suggestions on these as well?
