I have a question concerning juicing that I have not found inthe forum.
I recently purchsed a juicer and now I am going "90 to nothing" with juicing. I made a wonderful apple, pear and pineapple juice mixture in the morning and at lunchtime I was doubled over my desk at work praying to my garbage can.
My question is....Do I need to mix the juice with water and if so at what ratio? Also, I ws told to sip the juice and not to drink it like a normal drink.

 poor thing!
Yes - definitely sip - juice needs to mix with saliva so your body can produce the enzymes to break it down.
Probably an obvious question, but are you using organic fruits? Apples especially have so many chemicals sprayed on them, and if you juice, you are concentrating those pesticides and putting them directly into your body.
I don't mix my juices with water - when I want water in them, I put the whole fruit in the vitamix instead of the juicer. It sounds trite, but I drink how much I feel like drinking - not a set quantity.
Could be just a detox reaction - stay with it and listen to your body to the pace and quantity that feels right for you.

Yes organic. My only thought was that I drank it too fast and the acidity from the pineapple was too concentrated. It was just so good, I couldn't help myself!

i've never heard of anyone having this reaction so i have no comments as to why that would have happened for you. i do have some suggestions for juicing though.
try mono juices
you can water down your juices but don't need to - i water down my juices right now on my fast cause my tummy doesn't seem to appreciate full strength juices right now. i always listen to my body.
adding a little ginger to your juices can assist to settle your tummy if needed and tastes GREAT. less is more with ginger!
you can sip or drink your juices. it is recommended though that the first mouthful sits in the mouth so your saliva mingles with the juice and your brain tells your tummy what is coming. if you have time to sip... sip. if you don't... then just drink it down.

oh and i always water down thicker juices like pear.
apple/pear/ginger is lovely... if you choose not to do mono (single) juices.
