my question is at the bottom.

Here is what the Pancreatitis association had to say about the raw diet.

"Since raw foods require less enzyme production, and are an excellent source of natural enzymes - it would seem to make sense that a diet that includes a healthy amount of raw foods would be suitable for someone with CP. I wouldn't recommend that anyone with CP restrict themselves to raw foods only, but do feel that they are an important part of our diet. One has to be aware that certain raw foods will cause more difficulty. Certainly anything with higher quantities of acid, for example, would be less tolerable than something low in acid. "

so my question here is this - how do you know what foods are higher in acid content than others - is there a web site which shows the acid content of foods?

thank you.

Have you tried doing a "SEARCH" here or on the internet? I am not bothered by much and don't have an acid prohlem. I keep moving and don't let the acid build up. I am "Bumping" this up and someone will drop by and give you the answer you are looking for. Thanks for Sharing your information.
